Purpose

Leading Insurance Company based in Morningside Sandton seeks individuals with relevant experience to answer incoming calls and make outgoing calls to clients whose policies have lapsed to try and obtain permission to reinstate.

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Answering incoming calls/making outgoing calls to clients whose policies have lapsed to try and obtain permission to reinstate.
  • Ensuring that targets are reached as per key measurement letter issued at the beginning of the financial year
  • Ensuring that reinstatement rules are applied.
  • Adhering to departmental policies and procedures and code of conduct
  • Ensuring that a detailed comment is updated on Telenet indicating the client’s decision to reinstate/no contacts and or follow ups.
  • Resolving queries related to reinstatements
  • Returning e-mail messages/voicemail promptly
  • Conserving the policy should the need arise
  • Working on special projects as they arise.
  • Coming up with creative ideas/suggestions to enhance systems and reduce negative production
  • Provide management with feedback on any failures that could impact our clients and the business negatively.

Key Measurement Factors

During your employment you will be required to achieve the following targets:

Reinstatement production:

First month: 3 average per day (worked out at month end)

Second month: 4 average per day (worked out at month end)

Third month: 5 average per day (worked out at month end)

Fourth month: 6 average per day (worked out at month end

Fifth month and more: 7 average per day (worked out at month end)

Outbound calls: Minimum of 80 calls per day.

Telephone time: Achieve an overall phone time average of 1 hour

and 55 minutes per day.

Call quality: Achieve a minimum call quality average of 80%

per month.

Call Compliance: Achieve a minimum call compliance average of

90% per month.

All of the above needs to be achieved every month and failure to do so may result in disciplinary action.

Purpose

A reputable legal expenses insurance company which is part of an innovative and dynamic financial services group seeks a Legal Advisor to provide clients with professional telephonic advice and assistance. Must be able to advise policy-holders on general matters including civil, criminal and labour related matters in a call centre environment.

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Administration of claims according to prescribed procedures
  • Provide telephonic advice and assistance to client’s
  • To ensure that the legal advice given to the clients is both accurate and relevant
  • To keep accurate and up to date records and ensure that all communication (written and oral) are of a professional standard
  • Attending to draft and respond to correspondence on behalf of clients
  • Liaison to ensure that clients receive regular updates/feedback on their claims
  • To undertake all other reasonable duties required to fulfil the obligations of the company
  • May be required to work flexi hours / on Saturdays should the need arise
  • May be required to attend presentations / rallies as part of their duties of employment.
