    COVID-19 is affecting the World, and the impact on South Africa can already be felt. In these times, we are still committed to meeting our clients’ needs and ensuring that they have the peace of mind they deserve.

    To safeguard our clients, we have removed waiting periods for COVID-19 Funeral claims. This means that if you have a funeral policy or take out a new funeral policy before the end of April 2020, you will be covered for any COVID-19 funeral claims immediately as long as you pay your first premium and every premium thereafter on time. New policyholders must not have been diagnosed with COVID-19 prior to taking out the policy for the waiting period to be waived.

    COVID-19 Benefit: Should the death of an Insured Life occur as a result of COVID-19 during the waiting period, we will pay the total funeral benefit amount, as indicated in your policy schedule, subject to meeting all other requirements of this policy, as well as the following conditions:

    - You have paid your first premium and every subsequent premium, on the due date.
    -The insured life has not been tested positive for COVID-19 or received treatment for COVID-19 prior to taking out the policy (or being added as an insured life on the policy).

    COVID-19 is an Illness caused by one of the corona family of viruses, called SARS-CoV-2. Diagnosis of COVID-19 must be confirmed by a positive test and communicated to the National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD).

    R110,000 family cover for less than R2 per person per day.

    The only funeral plan that pays back all your premiums. Your beneficiaries receive the full cover amount plus all the premiums for the deceased member, with a valid death claim.

    NEW BENEFIT: Half of your premiums back at age 65 Clientèle now gives you the option to receive 50% of your premiums back in cash at the age of 65. The money can be used to ease the pressure of not earning an income anymore. The remaining 50% of premiums paid will be paid back to the beneficiaries upon death. This benefit only applies to members who join before the age of 50.
